Kickin' It With Steve Nazar

I recently had the opportunity to sit down and interview artist/creator of the famous and iconic characters from T&C Surf Design. Here is our interview and some photos I got to shoot for Kicks To The Pitch. Kicks To The Pitch teamed up with Hawaii based store/brand In4mation and Paradise Soccer Club to produce some original artwork and product with Steve's artwork. Here is a quick blurb on the event and collab from Kicks To The Pitch:

Soccer lifestyle blog Kicks to the Pitch, along with premiere Hawaiian retailers In4mation and Paradise Soccer Club, host Kick and Rip - “Soccer Surf and Aloha” by Steve Nazar, celebrating the work of the artist best known for creating the iconic T&C Surf Designs surfing characters. The soccer and surf pop-up shop and gallery will open on Friday, February 5th to coincide with Chinatown’s First Friday Honolulu Art Walk and will run all month long. Giving a distinct nod to Hawaii’s fast-growing niche soccer culture, the gallery and pop-up shop will feature some of Nazar’s well-known original T&C Surf Designs surfing characters modernized with soccer touches.
Launching in conjunction with Kick and Rip will be a limited-edition collection featuring a series of products highlighting the artwork of Nazar. Leading the collection will be a limited run of Stance socks, as well as graphic t-shirts, prints, pin sets, patches, stickers, soccer kits plus a limited run of skateboards. The collection will launch exclusively at In4mation Chinatown, 1154 Nu’uanu Ave. Honolulu, HI on February 5th and will be celebrated with an opening event from 6PM to 11PM. Attendees will enjoy live music, giveaways by premium shoe care brand Jason Markk, a meet and greet with Steve Nazar and have the first opportunity to shop the collection, along with original T&C Surf Designs character prints and Nazar’s art.
Fans of the collection will be able to purchase the limited collection starting February 12th from all In4mation and Paradise Soccer Club locations as well as on the web at both online shops.
