We came, we saw, we threw a banger of a party. Amid the relentless humidity and chaos that is Art Basel, Adidas and KTTP created a unique experience built around the beautiful game.
On the back walls of the space were two giant and contrasting murals. One for SRGN FC painted by Naturel and the other blessed by Amuse for Red Ribbon Recon FC. On the adjacent walls the custom kicks, soccer boots and kits were draped for display. The center of the installation was a maze of illuminated tubes that acted as implied boxes for further display of the custom kicks.
The entertainment consisted of an EA Sports Fifa lounge in which Chad Ochocinco stopped by to take on all comers and take pictures with fans. Jason Markk provided a shoe cleaning station, Heineken blessed us with free beer and El Orgullo Latino food truck fed the masses with delicious Mexican food.
The night was poignantly capped off by a face melting set from the one of the greatest producers in hip hop history, Just Blaze.
